What to Design in June

Today I wanted to give you some inspiration on what to design in June. If you’re stuck on ideas or wanting to get ahead, you’ve come to the right place. Please keep in mind that National awareness days and some holidays can change date each year, so make sure to look up event dates for the current year so you don’t miss it!

Holidays & Observances in June

Project Ideas

June is a great month to get outdoors! I recommend giving yourself some boundaries to let yourself spend more time outside and less time designing. It’s a great month to head to the Zoo (maybe take some pics of cute animals for inspo!), plan a camping trip or vacation, or maybe tend to your fruit and veggie garden! 

Thinking Ahead

Start thinking of red white and blue because 4th of July is around the corner. Fireworks, boating, drinking, oh my!

Christmas in July is coming and I know you might be thinking it’s too early… but it’s never too early in the crafting world for Christmas. Lots of sites do a Christmas in July marketing push, so it’s a great idea to have those designs ready to upload in early July. If you’re not ready to think about the cold, head south and design for a Tropical Christmas!

Evergreen Projects

And lastly, I want to share some evergreen projects to get you thinking about topics you might not have in your design catalog yet! This month I want to talk about causes. Some are easier to design for, but it’s nice to think about other topics like this to see if there’s anything you can design to support the cause. If you want to take it a step further, these would be great to make charitable products and donate proceeds to charity! I hope these spark some ideas for you! ✨
