Have you ever wanted to use the markers with your Cricut? Traditional fonts will write an outline around the letters, and if that’s not the look you’re going for you will want a writing font. These fonts are sometimes called single line fonts, sketch fonts, or writing fonts. And today I’m going to share with you the best writing fonts for Cricut.
You can also use single line fonts for engraving or scoring with your Glowforge or Cricut.

Dear Agatha
Dear Agatha is one of the first sketch fonts I downloaded. You literally can’t go wrong with any Missy Meyer font. I personally know how hard she works on her fonts, and how long this font took her to make. It’s my go-to font I recommend when people are looking for writing fonts.
Charming Sketch Bundle
The Charming Sketch bundle from Blush Font Co. is a great bundle to start with! It has everything you need to get started with writing projects with your Cricut.
Favorite Cursive
Favorite Cursive is another font from Blush Font Co. that isn’t included in the bundle above. It’s a great everyday script font that would be great for greeting cards.
Pinsetter Line
Pinsetter is probably Missy Meyer’s most popular font, so when I saw she made a single line version of it I was so happy! This font is one of my favs to use, so I love that it comes in a writing version too!
Shiplap Sketch
Shiplap Sketch is a great farmhouse style font that would be great for engraving on signs or tags.
Garruline
Garruline is another font from Missy Meyer on my list this week. But I added it because there aren’t a ton of serif fonts (in comparison to sans or script fonts), especially serif writing fonts. I love that Garruline would work for tons of uses.
Lemon Line
Lemon Line is another great script font to choose from. It’s simple, easy to read, and great for Cricut projects.
