There are so many vinyl sticker companies out there these days and I wanted to put them to the test! I’ve compared 9 die cut sticker companies, as well as two printable vinyl papers, to see which one is best of the best.
The 3 main criteria I will be reviewing is the Price, Sticker Quality, and the Ease of Use for ordering. I’ve organized this blog post into two main parts: quick answers and full in-depth reviews on each sticker company.
Vinyl Sticker Price Comparison
Not factoring in any discounts or multi-sticker discounts, the vinyl sticker company with the cheapest stickers is… Sticker Bros. To calculate this I looked at the pricing for 50 stickers across all websites, which eliminated sample pack pricing. I also set each sticker to 3×3″ and matte vinyl.
It should be noted that sites like Stickermule and Sticker App decrease your pricing if you upload a design smaller than exactly 3×3″, so this could actually put one of those ahead. Some websites, like Stickermule and Sticker Bros, have a buy more save more discount.
Which company was the fastest?
I recorded the times of all my order confirmation emails as well as the time the proof emails came in, and Sticker Blitz took a whopping 8 minutes to get my proof! All orders were placed between 3pm and 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon.
The first order to arrive was Jukebox, which made it to my door in 5 days (3 business days!!). The rest of the orders came in as following: Sticker Giant (6 days), Sticker App (7 days), Sticker Beat (8 days), Sticker Bros and Sticker Blitz (9 days), Sticker Ninja (13 days), and Vinyl Disorder (14 days). It should be noted that I already had Stickermule stickers on hand but in my years of ordering they’ve always been pretty speedy, regardless of order size. I would guess that a sample would have been here within 5-7 days.
What vinyl sticker company has the best quality?
By using the exact. same. file. I’m able to accurately compare each vinyl sticker manufacturer. And I can honestly say it’s super hard to pick a winner! I would put Stickermule, Jukebox, Sticker Bros, and Sticker Ninja at the top of my list though.
Jukebox has the absolute best printing out of all the vinyl sticker companies I tested. Yes, my elephant showed up a little lighter than the rest but the lines are so crisp and the flowers are the most vibrant. Sticker Giant has a really unique sheen to its stickers, and Stickermule and Sticker Blitz are the exact same vinyl it feels like.
What company has the most options?
When you’re looking into buying new inventory for your business, it’s most convenient to only have to go to one website. Below is a chart on what companies have the most options. Sites like Jukebox and Stickermule have a lot of non-sticker products like packaging tape and bubble mailers (Stickermule), or business cards and notepads (Jukebox).
👇 In-depth reviews on each company 👇
Keep in mind: most companies state they are either waterproof or weatherproof – but not all disclose if they are dishwasher safe or how long they will last outside. If I can’t find the information I am putting n/a.
Jukebox Review
Price: $57 for 50 stickers = $1.14 each (free shipping)
Sticker Quality: 5/5
- Waterproof: Yes
- Dishwasher Safe: n/a
- Fade Resistant: n/a
- Scratch Resistant: Yes
Ease of Use: 5/5
Other Notes: Jukebox shipped my items the fastest, and they shipped without any plastic. I can feel a clear difference in thickness compared to other companies, so they get some point for durability. They are also the only company that prints with eco friendly inks.
Specialty Items: Jukebox offers glitter, holographic, and clear stickers – as well as sticker sheets, sticker rolls, and window clings. They also offer business cards, notepads, rubber stamps, bookmarks, tissue paper, and more.
Recommendation: ★★★★★
I’m giving Jukebox a 5/5 stars because they are the only company to have eco friendly options. Not only that but their stickers were the most vibrant and crisp out of all the companies I tested. Their pricing is decent too – right in the middle. I also have used them for their sticker sheets so I can attest to those being great quality too. I like that they have many non-sticker options so they could easily become your one-stop shop for your stationery needs!
Stickermule Review
Price: $72 for 50 = $1.44 each (free shipping)
* They do offer samples though, which is a great way to get started testing out your designs in sticker form!
** Stickermule does pricing breaks depending on the actual size of the design: so if you upload a design that is 3″ by 2″ it will be less than $72. They also do buy more save more discounts so I was easily getting stickers for less than $0.75 each when I was ordering for wholesale (my goal was less than that so I’d make decent profit for both wholesale and retail orders).
Of course, if you aren’t selling wholesale then the bulk pricing might not incentivize you to choose them.
Sticker Quality: 5/5
- Waterproof: Yes
- Dishwasher Safe: Yes
- Fade Resistant: 3-5 years
- Scratch Resistant: Yes
Ease of Use: 5/5
Other Notes: I can attest to the quality and durability of their stickers. I’ve had some of their stickers on water bottles and cars for 3+ years and they still look perfect! The one on my car has started to fade, but that’s expected after 3 years.
Specialty Items: Stickermule offers glitter, holographic, and clear stickers – as well as sticker sheets, sticker rolls, and window clings. They also sell packaging tape, bubble mailers, magnets, pins, and more.
Recommendation: ★★★★☆
I’m giving them a 4/5 stars simply because of their pricing. I think their pricing scares people off from trying them, but their quality is top tier.
Sticker Blitz Review
Price: $58 for 50 = $1.16 each (plus shipping)
Sticker Quality: 5/5
- Waterproof: Yes
- Dishwasher Safe: Yes
- Fade Resistant: Yes but no years mentioned
- Scratch Resistant: n/a
Ease of Use: 5/5
Other Notes: If you’re familiar with Stickermule’s quality then you’ll be happy to know that Sticker Blitz is the exact same. I literally cannot see or feel any differences.
Specialty Items: Sticker Blitz offers clear and holographic vinyl stickers.
Recommendation: ★★★☆☆
I’m giving them an overall 3/5 because they don’t have many options. They are the most limited in styles compared to the rest of the companies we’re looking at today. If you want glitter stickers you would need to shop around, and at that point the quality of stickers might not match up which would give mixed signals in your marketing.
Sticker Bros Review
Price: $35 for 50 = $0.70 each (plus shipping)
Sticker Bros is the cheapest on this list and their quality honestly is much better than I expected. Their pricing does not sacrifice their quality. They also do a buy more save more option.
Sticker Quality: 5/5
- Waterproof: Yes
- Dishwasher Safe: n/a
- Fade Resistant: 4 years
- Scratch Resistant: Yes
Ease of Use: 5/5
Other Notes: They do have a blue tint to their stickers that is noticeably different from the rest.
Specialty Items: Sticker Bros offers glitter, clear, and holographic stickers – as well as sticker sheets, window clings, banners, and magnets.
Recommendation: ★★★★☆
Honestly, they’re worth checking out! I like that they have a good variety of specialty items, and their pricing is the best I’ve come across.
Sticker Giant Review
Price: $50 for 50 = $1 each (plus shipping)
Sticker Quality: 5/5
- Waterproof: Yes
- Dishwasher Safe: n/a
- Fade Resistant: n/a
- Scratch Resistant: n/a
Ease of Use: 5/5
Other Notes: Their stickers are printed with a different sheen. They’re still matte, but when the light shines on them they have this metallic-y sheen to them. It’s hard to describe but it’s really nice looking!
Specialty Items: Sticker Giant offers clear and holographic stickers – as well as sticker sheets and sticker rolls.
Recommendation: ★★★★☆
I don’t think you could go wrong with them!
Sticker Ninja Review
Price: $53 for 50 = $1.06 each (plus shipping)
Sticker Quality: 5/5
- Waterproof: Yes
- Dishwasher Safe: Yes
- Fade Resistant: 3 years
- Scratch Resistant: n/a
Ease of Use: 5/5
Other Notes:
Specialty Items: Sticker Ninja offers glitter, clear, holographic, and glow in the dark stickers – as well as sticker sheets, sticker rolls, and window clings.
Recommendation: ★★★★★
Their quality of stickers is great, their pricing is comparable, AND they offer a huge variety of options for stickers. I believe they are a newer site, so they could be one to watch out for in terms of new product categories being added.
Vinyl Disorder Review
Price: $47 for 50 = $0.94 each (plus shipping)
Sticker Quality: 3/5
- Waterproof: Yes
- Dishwasher Safe: n/a
- Fade Resistant: n/a
- Scratch Resistant: n/a
Ease of Use: 2/5
Other Notes: Their website is by far the worst. The graphics are terrible, there aren’t any examples of their work, and their checkout system feels like it’s from 2005. Take that with a grain of salt because I am a graphic designer trained to see these things, but I would literally never shop on their website again just because of how much I disliked it.
Specialty Items: Vinyl Disorder offers glitter, clear, and holographic stickers – as well as sticker sheets and window clings.
Recommendation: ★★☆☆☆
Their stickers are decent but not the best I’ve seen.
Sticker App Review
Price: $53 for 50 = $1.06 (plus shipping)
Sticker Quality: 2/5
- Waterproof: Yes
- Dishwasher Safe: Yes
- Fade Resistant: 4 years
- Scratch Resistant: n/a
Ease of Use: 5/5
Other Notes: They don’t have a matte vinyl. The glossy sticker I received was annoying, I didn’t like the texture at all. And the stickers stuck to each other which would make counting inventory much more difficult than it needs to be.
I do like that you can preview the sticker design on multiple vinyl sticker types. You can quickly get an idea of what your design would look like on regular vinyl, holographic, glitter, etc.
Specialty Items: Sticker App offers glitter, clear, holographic, and glow in the dark stickers, as well as sticker sheets.
Recommendation: ★★☆☆☆
Prior to receiving my order I thought I would like them the most. Their website has features that none of the other site has, but I despise the glossy stickers. Am I being dramatic? Maybe. But I know I’m not the only one in the world who has a thing for texture, so it’s very possible you could have customers that hate the feeling of the stickers like me, too.
Sticker Beat Review
Price: $72 for 50 = $1.44 (plus shipping)
Sticker Quality: 1/5
- Waterproof: Yes
- Dishwasher Safe: n/a
- Fade Resistant: Yes but no years mentioned
- Scratch Resistant: Yes
Ease of Use: 5/5
Other Notes: For being the most expensive sticker on this list, their quality should reflect that. And honestly I think their quality is the worst one I saw. The colors were muted and muddy. The stickers are printed on a gray vinyl which I believe is the cause for that issue.
Specialty Items: Sticker Beat offers clear and holographic stickers – as well as sticker sheets, sticker rolls, window clings, and more.
Recommendation: ★☆☆☆☆
I would not recommend ordering from Sticker Beat. Their print job was by far the worst and the fact that they print on anything other than a plain white sticker backer is a con for me. I feel like branding wise this makes your stickers look lower quality too.
Printing Your Own Stickers
You can also print vinyl stickers at home. This is a great option if you are wanting to make stickers for yourself, friends, or family – or if you’re not quite ready to start placing larger orders yet. The two brands I tested were both waterproof, and felt more durable than I was expecting.
In conclusion…
This comparison was a LOT harder than I expected it to be. I would say that Stickermule, Jukebox, Sticker Blitz, Sticker Bros, and Sticker Ninja are my top choices – for their quality, pricing, and range of products available.
Out of all the vinyl sticker companies talked about today, which one is your favorite? Is there one that you love that isn’t on the list? Let me know! ◡̈
