Calling all small business owners, this one’s for you! Thermal label printers are good for more than just shipping labels. They’re also great at printing packaging stickers. Today I’m showing you how to use thermal label sticker designs, as well as some of my favorite sticker designs.

Supplies Needed for Printing Thermal Stickers
- Thermal Printer: Dymo Printer 4XL or Rollo Wireless are my recommendations
- Sticker Design: Shop my website, Design Bundles, or Etsy
- Labels: I purchased these 1.25 x 2.25 labels and they work great
Choose your Thermal Label Sticker Design
Grab a design from my shop and then download. Downloading is the easy part, deciding on a design is the hard part! 😉 If the files come zipped, you’ll want to unzip them first.
Change Your Sticker Label Size
For the Rollo printers, you will push the button on the side to open the machine. Next, remove the labels you previously had and put in the new ones. You’ll want to push together the purple levers so that they fit snug around the labels. If you have labels that came on a roll you may want to hold them in place with something heavier.
This step is similar for the Dymo printers as well: you’ll need to open the top portion of the printer and then tighten the levers around the stickers.
Print Your Labels
Now it’s time for the fun part: seeing your stickers print out super fast!
Once your stickers are printed, fold them or roll them back up and get ready to add them to your orders. If you’re looking for sticker storage inspo, my friend Kyndra has the cutest setup!
